Education

Our mission is to provide excellence in science education and professional development to our analytical community.

For almost 50 years, EAS has offered a variety of opportunities for professional analytical scientists in multiple disciplines to continue with their education and professional training.

Short Courses:

Our short course program offers a variety of topics in many analytical disciplines. From this agenda, you will be pleased to find a series of Short Courses designed to help our scientists to keep current with today’s workplace. Whether you are looking to learn of a new analytical technology, understand new regulations, explore a new analytical field, brush up a new concept, you will be able to find a course that would serve your interest. Years after years, the following areas of concentrations continue to serve our community:

Pharmaceutical Analysis

Method Development and Validation

New Analytical Technologies

Regulatory and Compliance

Our Short Course program provides these advantages:

  • Courses range from theoretical concepts to valuable applications. Most include interactive discussion as well as case studies for illustration.
  • Courses last either one to two-day long, allowing attendees to also attend the exposition or the technical program.
  • Our instructors are recognized as leading experts in the industry with practical experiences.
  • Content of these courses contain a wealth of materials that can be immediately applied to our day-to-day work.
  • Our course emphasizes practical and problem solving topics.
  • Our cost is minimal as compared with other national organizations.
  • Our location is convenient with proximity to major airports and local highways.

If there is any interesting topic that you don’t see, please contact the Short Course office and speak to our Short Course Chairperson. We will make all efforts to explore this topic for next meeting.

Seminars:

As education is one of our priorities, we have structured a series of seminars every year. These seminars usually last from 10 am to 3:30 pm. These sessions are developed to introduce the potential aspects of analytical sciences as well as their applications. Our goals of these seminars are providing information for undergraduate/graduate students and/or high school teachers, who may want to better understanding of a variety of analytical services and keep abroad with new development in their fields.

Teaching Chemistry Principles

Developing and Marketing Pharmaceuticals

Analytical and Forensic Science

What does an Analytical Chemist do?

Due to popular demand, we are offering career related seminars once again this year, These free seminars offer great opportunities for those who are currently looking for new or different career opportunities. Although there are no charges for these seminars, registration is still required.
